Last Update Before Tirvannamalai

Only 200km left to the goal. It’s such a strange feeling to know that this part of my adventure comes to an end. But on the other hand I am also looking forward to my stay at my second home, to play and laugh with the girls and spend time at the Arunachala Village School. I am so sorry for not updating you more. Today I wrote an article for a newspaper. If they don’t want to publish it, it will appear immediately on this webpage.

Crazy India

In Southgoa we found a piece of heavan on earth. We relaxed in front of our bungalow, had a diverse breakfast buffet and treated us with a massage. After two days of lazieness we continued to cycle south. In Honavar we turned east again and explored the jungle. One night we slept in a temple. Now we will visite some temples from the 12th century before cycling to bangalore.

I am sorry for not updating you more frequently. As most of you know my strengh is dealing with numbers or with single letters not with words :-P, so it takes some time to write a post I am happy with. But be sure, as soon as I have got some time, I am writing some stories down for you.

At the moment we are looking for a nice hotel with a good breakfast for some days of rest. Than I will be happy to update you with some stories from Iran and India. We just don’t have time at the moment to write them down due to 7 hours of cycling every day.

Welcome to India!

Dear reader,

I am sorry that I did not publish any blogposts on Iran yet. I was just to busy traveling, talking to people and enjoying my time in this wonderful country. Now we are in India. Yesterday we explored the city of Mumbai. Here you can clearly see the influence of british architecture and city structure.

Our bikes and our legs are longing to cycle again. From now on the gps-tracker will show you our position again.

Sweaty greetings,

Matthias and Thomas

Welcome to Iran

Today we entered Iran. Due to some infrastuctural problems we will no longer be able to update this blog as frequently as we were before. So don’t be afraid, if you don’t get news till the 17th of September. But then we will already be in our final country India.
